Our pharmacy has been designed with ease of use for pushchairs and wheelchairs in mind.

We have recently installed a pneumatic door opener - the door will open at the push of a button, which is conveniently situated at a height accessible for wheelchair users. This is proving extremely popular with young children helping Mum to bring in her buggy!

After opening, the door holds back for 15 seconds - allowing plenty of time to get your buggy or wheelchair through. It is wide enough for a double buggy.

Although we have a 5 inch (12.5cm) step up into the shop, we have a portable ramp strong enough to take a motorised wheelchair or disability scooter. Our staff are more than happy to fit it for you - it takes only a few seconds.

The floor area is large enough so that a double buggy or wheelchair can be pushed all the way around the shop. It is all on one level so that all areas can be accessed, included our passport photography area.

Our sales counter is only 36 inches (90cm) high making it accessible if you are a wheelchair user.
